I'm sorry, I really had to laugh at your headline...I figured out that you were talking about an eraser, but in America a "rubber" is slang for condom!

Tweeter,

Think about it this way, the drudgery won't last forever and what you are doing now is exactly what will get you to where you are going.   I wish you success wtih your writing service. One thing's for sure - you'll corner the market since you'll be the only one providing that service.

Having more or less fixed goals is something I have found to be very helpful. They keep you motivated and in most cases, the work eventually pays off. Keep moving right along. You'll get to where you want to be and you won't regret the work you put in to get there.

Keep making those submissions.

Word

I agree about attitude. I am working hard on many things, with very little happening at the moment, but the one thing I do have is confidence. There is no one in my area that offers a writing service for our local buisnesses, I am going to offer that and ghost written greeting cards, I am learning all I can, along with a weekly goal of submitting my resume and cover letter at least seven different freelance oppotunities. Finally something came through yesterday. I know if I do the leg work it will happen. I also have to work a part time, at a job with little pay in order to fund my business endevor. Sometimes I get depressed thinking how I have 62 credits toward a B A degree yet I can only make $8 an hour, but I feel so positive about my future writing business, that I veiw my temporary job as the means to get there.

I like to read your blogs, they always give me positive energy.

MayB, I've been learning as I go along.

With a lot more work. I'm hoping for bigger things in the future.

Well done. Though I must say that early success can be mixed blessing because it can set up false expectations that everything will sell. It does sound like you have a good attitude.
