You are correct. Tom T. Hall did right this great song. And I believe we
are about to have a concensus with "Clayton Delaney". Helluva song. Ranks up there with "Reuben James" by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition and "Mama Tried" by Merle Haggard.

I'm not sure if Tom T. Hall wrote this or not but I am positive that he recorded it. I still remember "Sneaky Snake" and "A Weekend in a County Jail". I put him up there with Jerry Reed, both very talented artists.
