I was in FL when 9/11 happened. I have traveled around the world a few times. That particular Dec. I went to Africa for a few reasons. One it was summertime there, two because I wanted to see the Southern Cross. Went on safari, had a scuffle with a Saudi prince, pissed of an Indian. A couple years later I moved to England and lived there for 2 years. It was about 3 years after the chunnel opened, went to Paris and other parts of France, Brussels, Ireland. On the pacific rim, everywhere from Hong Kong to New Zealand.(which is still one of my favorites) NZ is where I did my bungee jump(southern Alps)

Did I ever tell you I missed Pan Am flight 109 by 24 hours? I was flying back from Africa thru Germany. Landed at JFK and another 4 hours to Dallas. When I got the next morning, they showed the crash. So sad. A year later I went to Scotland to see the memorial. There was a big crater just outside Locerbi where the plane smashed into it. Actually I have been back there several times. The reason I was bumped up was because it was the holidays. The bomb was scheduled to be planted within a 5 day window that week. I talked with many of the locals in Scottland. Their stories were incrediable!

The problem isn't just Bush
but the whole mentality that has come post cold war. During the cold war, the same nation would be one our side, then the Russian's side, etc. The truth was that both the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. manipulated the non Europeans countries for our benefit. Before us, there were the imperialism in Europe. Most of the manipulation that was done, did great harm to the people of those countries, including Iraq and Iran. Afghanistan is a ruin. So no matter what kind of reasoning we have for these wars, the reality is that they create as many terrorists as they uncover.

Injustice always has the same results, it fuels anger, which fuels terror. Substituting our injustice for Sadaam's neither helps Iraq nor us. Al Keeda and Ben Laden are our creation. I don't know the solution, but it seems that war is not a solution but a furtherance of the problem.

I just wonder if we would bring peace instead of war and justice instead of injustice, if our desire to spread democracy would come true. In the past, in Latin America at least, we found dictatorships easier to deal with than democracies. Maybe we were so worried about weapons of mass destruction, because we sold him some of those weapons.

I have to admit

I have seen your blog title around the home page many times and really didn't start reading it till the other day.  I tend to not go into things that are likely to be a huge flame for or against.  I don't read "Bush Is Better Than Sliced Bread" type things either LOL!

I don't know how you have managed to pull it off, but somehow you have managed  (when you don't have certain residents of LA LA Land visiting).  To put information out there and open it up thoughtful discussion.

KUDOS Kingmi!

Wow, more facts, more truth to consider, your research and thoughtful consideration has even impress old Scoop. Good job, I've been trying to do the same thing for days now. Let's gang up on that old Jar Head, smack him around with forgotten facts, and see what happens.

Well, put kingmi, folks in this country have always been short sighted, and tend to think in terms of hourse, where our enemies, on the other hand, think in in terms of decades. Keep throwing those facts out there, keep hitting the doubters with truth, it is, turly, The American way.

I may not agree on your thoughts on Bush but this is very interesting
good points and good information that should be followed up on. I still agree Bush should not be impeached, however if down the line it comes out we were lied to about going to war then we will cross that bridge.
