That would would be excellent, twodog. It would be even better to hear
a collective of property owners stand up and say, "They made thier decision; now let them enforce it."

The Supreme's, Don't You Just Love 'em
Well, based on the bloggs pouring in on the decision, I would say, just about every property owner in the network, is taking another look at the importance of judicial appointments. If they'r not, the better be. This one cuts across all political affiliations, liberal, conservitive, libertarian, green, it doesn't matter. All of us are in danger. A quick example, the Cherokee sued to maintain our land, all the way to the Supreme Court, and won. However, as is allowed in the Constitution, the executive and the legislative branches joined forces and said, no, and so the relocation took place. In this case, the legislative and the executive can do exactly the same thing, and tell the Supreme's, no, the decision is moot, out, gone, outta here. It would be, nice, if the second time the executive and legislative joined forces against a Supreme decision, it was to preserve property rights, not trash them.

It gets rather scary when it gets so quiet on an issue that stands to
potentially uproot anyone of lesser means for the sake of the wants of the rich, the politically well-connected, and the powerful.

As O'Conner said, those who are least able to grease the squeaky wheels are the most vulnerable. No upper class neighborhood where the "upstanding" members of the community live will never be threatened. What really surprises me, however, is there's no outrage, no rants about "activist judges" and such. Those that have complained the loudest about recent rulings are now strangely silent.

This is one of the worse decisions ever
I can understand blight or if it is condemned for health or structual problems but the homes I saw taken in Ohio and those they want in Conneticutt, there is nothing wrong with them. I don't agree, this could open the door to anything anywhere.
