Mama---
You definitely have something here.  Any ideas where you see it going?  Email me off of here.

Not that easy...and agents take 15-20 percent.  You have to sell it to an agent first, generally, depending on what type of publisher you are aiming at.

I've heard what you're saying so many times.  What level are you at?  Do you need editing, book doctoring, or is it just in need of another pair of eyes?  All of that plays into how it will be received by an agent.  I think the more honest you can be about your work at this stage, the easier the whole thing goes.  I'm working with people now who really, really think they are writing for publication when it is really a first draft.

I'll give 10 percent of whatever I make to whoever can get me published.

Thank you so much for your tips!  I appreciate your willingness to share you expertise.  I want to do a series of articles about cybersex/internet porn addiction (been done, I know) but I have a unique perspective because my husband is gay.  There are many other issues that muddle the water.  Just leaving is not the answer.  His inability to be honest, to live honestly in his own skin has nearly sucked to life out of me.  I have survived only because my will to survive is as strong as it is.
