Burly,
Problem! This "President", is the last man on the Planet I would welcome being isolated with or for! Chose what you accept carefully.

More than 3000 people lost their lives in the treacherous and dastardly attack on 9-11. It is my feeling that we no longer have any friends in this world..including the British and that we should "take care of ourselves first." I have never been isolationist, but I am now!!

Kingmi,

I didn't read all of your post.  It's far too long to bother with when the argument that it supports is stated at the outset.  Why bother with scraps of information that were gleaned hither and yon to support a statement that has already been made?  That's the way all political rants and raves go.  Decide, then go scrounging for supporting truths and innaccuracies.  I am not faulting you, but rather the source of your information.

Then I read the comments to see more of the same.  I don't read the bloggers' comments any further than to see whether they are being true to form.  Glennb is always entertaining.  His comments always seem to refer to the fact that everyone is stupid but him.  That sort of conceit and arrogance are always entertaining to the point of laughter.

All of the commetors here were true to form.  Jolly good show, Kingmi.  Keep dragging them out of the woodwork to rant and prance--I'll stop by more often to see.   JJ

George W. Bush, And the Entire Bush Family...

...are guilty of high treason and should all be tried.  If found guilty they should all be properly punished to the fullest extent of the law.

The same holds for the rest of the Administration.  They are all despicable, draft-dodging cowards who think nothing of the misery they inflict on the hundreds of thousands of families both here in the US and in Iraq.

Of course our oil companies needed control of the oil fields...it's part of THEIR plan for soaking every last one of us completely dry.  Meanwhile, real solutions to the energy crisis get buried and hidden from public view so that these morons can sing their swan song.

Nationalize all Big Oil companies!  Jail all oil company executives and their intelligence operative toadies!  Return the money Enron stole to the employees in Houston who need it for their retirement!  Return all the money Enron stole from the California treasury.  Ken Lay is guilty of high crimes -- send him to jail for the rest of his life!

I don't ask for much, just simple and complete justice.

Glennb, Actually, through our dialogue here it appears that we have warded
off a time-consuming debate about impeachment.  We, together, have lanced the boil.  Before you guys get started lynching a decent man, don't forget that he is also a citizen of the US.

Kingmi,
How dare you unleash your ignorance on an ignorant audience in Blogit! These people have lost all form of credible human intellect. They should all be caged and studied for science to make sure there are proper treatments for their stupidity!

History is just that history, we can't go back and change it
we have to worrry about today and the future of our children and grandchildren and what we can do to change things now. Nixon/Vietnam-Watergate, Reagan and his boy Ollie North, Clinton/and Monica and now Bush/Blair and bad info, we can't change any of it, so we move on and learn from these blunders.

Hemlocker, As a big-tent party we now must admit all kinds to the Republican banquet.  That means me.  I was an independent until the age of 33.  Then I met Ronald Reaga's presidency and my life sort of changed.  Aldo, I wasn't born until a decade after FDR's death.  I'm glad I have a few more years to live here in this century, but I reminisce about the old days when I listened to the news from my crib and Lawrence Welks every Saturday night!

Would I have wanted to impeach FDR?  An awful lot of people did want to.  Some of them are still alive today, and just as vehemently believe that Roosevelt was disastrous for our country, the Yalta Treaty unleashed the Cold War, and the New Deal was an abomination from Hell.  As a Republican, of course you know all this.  Hemlocker

At the same time (1945), reports were surfacing that the United States knew what the Japanese were planning months before Pearl Harbor. Our government had been intercepting and translating Japan's coded messages and knew Hawaii was of particular interst to Japan's warlords and even suspected strongly that war was imminent but nothing was done until after the attack happened. The disclosure took place during a Senate-House committee investigating how the United States could have been caught so flat-footed by the Japanese sneak attack.

Kingmi,
Ah! Nothing new in that essay! By the way, take out that bogus link to 9/11 and nobody supported invading Iraq!

I'm sorry... but something just happened
in my brain when I tried to think of GWB and FDR as being similar, in any other way than possesing penises.... and their titles... I think I blew a fuse or something.
