Dating...
This post goes back a bit, but it struck a cord with me 'cuz I guess at some point I'll be entering the world of dating again.  It's very daunting... I'm wondering if there's a rule book... 'cuz from what I can see so far there are a few rules I'm not familiar with.  I think for right now, dating appeals to me as a way to have a good time and maybe meet some nice people.  Beyond that... I'm a bit skeptical about the whole forever and ever thing, so I'm not looking to get attached any time soon.  I guess it's just about being social.

Dating For It's Own Sake and About Your Being An Impressionable Young Man

I laughed at you.  That was cute.  Obviously, you're very impressionable if you saw "Cheat" in the title of my blog and allowed your curiosity to draw you in anyway (smile). You know you love that "trait" in yourself.    Anyway, I'm glad you read it.  I enjoyed two of your commentaries as well.  You bring up some interesting points about dating.

I don't date because I find it difficult. Instead I get with my girls.  Either the guys starts to care more for me (which is most of the time, not braggin in the least) or I start to care more for him.  So it makes it hard to just date with out it becoming complicated.  I guess it depends on whether you come up on someone who maintains the same feelings you do and can follow through with those feelings without them graduating into something more.  What you and your friend, girl have is rare from my stand point.  I have had long standing guy friends but it always ended with them wanting to marry me or wanting to "love" me and me not willing to.  I would love to have a guy I can be just friends with and just have fun again.

Jeff
I used to love dating - until I began 'dating' someone and fell in love. Now I admit - I wish I was dating for the sake of dating again.
