Good post
AS a recovering alcoholic I really appreciate the encouragement. Even if we made horrible choices or simply poor choices we are not trash but indeed a creation of god. ANd you are right it is very important to share our stories with others it helps them realize that they are not alone. Whenever I chair a meeting I make sure I don't leave out the really painful stuff because there might be somebody at that meeting who has gone through similar things as I and they may need to know that they are not alone and that they too can stay sober despite their difficulties.
