You just described the mega church we split from.
The pastor used? to sell Amway.
We attended there, (I'll call it Club Chapel) for 18 years, and served with our whole family and whole hearts, only to be blackballed, shunned for some unknown reason. We stuck it out for many years, before the unfriendliness was too much to bear.
