Hacker,

These feelings may be from a combination of things; the stress of the job, whatever medication (Klonopine, Klozapine, Depakote, etc.) are very potent), and your own chemistry, plus factor X.  Feelings of disassociation, mental scrambling of numbers (when you are normally very adept at numbers), I'm guessing at this: sounds like a medication/biochemistry reaction.

Taking a deep breath and centering yourself sounds like good advice, plus calling your psychiatrist.

Hang in there buddy! Remember to stay logical...you are very good at talking yourself back to reality! I don't care if you are at work though... you have to take care of yourself first. Just do what you need to do to take care of yourself. At this point your health is MOST important. Do whatever you think will work best...but I would start with a call to the psychiatrist. I have been to that breaking point of work vs. health myself and this is it... YOU come first!

Hacker,

Hang in there, honey.  Can you report to your boss about being followed?  Have you ever had these visions before?  On your way home, if you notice this person following you, the best thing for you to do would be to head for your nearest police station.  Better safe than sorry!!  Keep me posted.

Unidentified, Dude, I read your panic attack while I was at school and I didn't get to respond.  I feel bad about that because I think you really were in need of a kind word.  Here's my kind word.  What happened to you is a thing caused by a job that you hate.  But if you talk yourself into quitting before you have another job lined up, you may suffer even worse attacks.  Ya know?  But I think you are in control now.  How long till quittin' time?
