I am not in a sensitive position at all but felt I should say something because I always found Whammie to be kind

Majroj, Sorry, I meant that emailed Blogit to that effect. Re Benzinha I am also anxious to hear from her. Re Cynthia, Richie is posting so I am guessing she is busy

MayB, I didn't get your email. You sound to be in a sensitive position.
It's hard when you know the principals in something like this, I know.
I'm more concerned about some people who stopped blogging and aren't in contact for any apparent reason, like Benzinha, Cynthia, et al.

Always out of the loop...that's me!
I don't know why Whammie was booted...I read her fairly regularly but have missed a lot in the past few months. I get very sad when I hear that bloggers that I love are leaving because of such incidents...and I too must be one of those 'silent' bloggers. I love to read good stuff and I love to write on here...other than that I never pick up on the fighting and insults...not sure why I miss all that stuff but for some reason I seem too. Very good post!

Tapsel-T. I find it easy to be sensible most of the time except when I want to be silly. Sometimes people mistakenly think that sensible people don't care.

Entrepreneur maker, that sounds dramatic. I think it is possible to be yourself here however some personalities are more vibrant than others

Tigerprincess, yes I saw that. Just relax. As the quiet blogger I have a policy of not getting worked up about things here. Life is too hectic

Majroj, whammie is a great character and sincere but as you say and I say in my post, this will not be reversed. It has happened before and will again.
Obviously we will never know the full story from all perspectives but personally I have seen a lot of unpleasant stuff here but never from Whammie. I emailed to that effect.

I find it hard to believe that Whammie has gone, but you are right. Soon the next incident will push this out of the limelight.

Okay this talk of Whammie being banned is making me really nervous, because I haven't been particularly angelic lately. (One look at my posts and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about)........

MB, sometimes we elder(ly) blogistas feel like old bartenders.
Seen it all before, and it all blows over in a couple days.
I feel that it's fine to ventilate, but, having been on the inside of a minor dustup as the bad guy, (by my own admission), and known a few who've left the fold as it where, the whole story will never be revealed.
I wonder if they charge extra for that? New tier of service!

I am sorry for being so insensitive to new bloggers. Wetzel, I was referring in the first part of my post to the recent banning of Whamenator

Being new I have no idea what you are posting about? What subject or event caused a person to be denied access? I'm just beginning to read many of the blogs and so far haven't found anything that offended my sensibilities. Peggy

MaryX, I agree. I found some of the recent debates far more disruptive and umpleasant in tone than anything I have seen from Whamenator. As I said one should not say die but should still look to the future

MayB,
You may be right that nothing will come of registering protests regarding Whamenator's banning, but I feel a loss and the sense of outrage that comes from principles betrayed. Others who have committed worse offenses are still here, why her?
