mysteria,
I know what you mean.  I was out there earlier tonight.  I came here to get away.  I thought I was going crazy, it seems so much worse than it has been.  When I see that you sense the same thing, I feel better--like I am not gone crazy.  Thank you....   JJ

Mysteria,

It wasn't as negative last time I checked, Limey was actually trading barbs on anglicisms with American English teachers, on what English slang is.  Granted, he goes over the top, but I'm not getting worked up about it anymore.

I shouldn't let myself get discouraged.  There are many more things to be excited about around here. It is amazing to me the way negativity can stick out at you... It is hard to ignore.  I will learn to be okay with it soon.

Mysteria,
If I guess right about what you're talking about, I think the whole thing may have just turned out to be a bad bar fight, a sort  of drunken brawl, where everybody ends up hugging boozily.

so thankful you took a walk outside & found my words intriguing.  i'm definitely a dreamer.  no doubt there's darkness out there.  but oh, the things to love.

I will do my best not to get discouraged.  I wish I could be better at ignoring these kinds of things.  I take stuff personally sometimes, and also at times I am subject to obsessive thinking.  My Brain: can't live w/it can't live wo/it. Thanks for dropping in and the encouragement mysteria

I can ignore it a lot better when I am not seeing it on the front page of the blog.  When it is there, it really hurts my eyes.  Poking and poking and poking and poking.  I appreciate your advice...I would do myself a service to follow it as there is always going to be negativity somewhere mysteria

...don't stay discouraged  & dissappointed with folks for too long little girl. Jump back in with both feet, it is where we take our biggest risks, that we receive our greaetest rewards! I posted something on my blog for you and a few other regular visitors.

mmm, there is a particular blog that brings me down too... Let us just ignore these blogs that discourage us and keep writing and doing what we enjoy ...
