Of course.
I just had never thought of what a...captive they might be, beyond the usual restricted freedoms of disability.
(Now someone will jump down my throat for that phrasing, but I haven't the time to PC it.)

good point
I singled the disabled out because I thought in terms of the discrimination experienced by them - as a group, if not individually. Having said that, I need also say that plenty of disabled individuals are living full, healthy, productive lives free of abuse. Nor will they let abuse into their lives.

Interesting read.
I have never thought of the disabled as being more subject to abuse. I have MS and have exposure to many disabled people although I am not disabled myself.
