Sometimes I have a hard time reading really long entries, but if they capture my attention in the first paragraph, then I do read on. My last entry, as I was writing it, seemed quite brief, but when finished, I looked at it and it was much lengthier that I thought. It is so hard sometimes to keep it short! Some entrys I have read I wish were a bit longer.

shorter is better?
I suppose some of mine are pretty long, and I don't write about my home life, but about writing, and post my fiction here. It's actually a pretty good deal for people, I think, cuz I post my fiction here, the same fiction that gets sold in other places (not the stuff my publisher picks up, mind you).
So, today, I'm off work and I shall browse around and see what cool fictions I can find.

I do most of my reading at work (sshhh!) so I stick to the shorter posts I can get through without distractions. The longer ones I save for when I'm home (if I remember to find them again).

Breaking up chapters into shorter blogs will definitely help people to
read your work...

I think that reasons for a lot of this is-
lack of attention span due to the presence of children, coworkers, etc.
lack of ability to find time to write something coherent that will keep our blogs up there in the rankings, so if we think of something easy to post, we do...
I do read more than write for these reasons...wish I could have enough of a train of thought here to even comment better!!
