JohnMcNab, when I am rational (I was less so when I wrote this post) I take the long view about conversation. I like to have a conversation about what's in posts. I am not so good on the inanities of life unless they are mine ;-). Thanks, yes I know I am read. I have two blogs around 70 but not so much conversation. Thanks for what you said

MayB

Wouldn't a chat room be the place for conversation, MayB?   Blogit is like a cafe where you pop in and say 'Hi' on the first day and on the second day start the rest of the phrase with 'how.'  It could take another 2 days to finish the 'how are you?' greeting.

I enjoy reading your blogs very much, and I just checked and saw that you are number 66 on the grand Blogit scheme of things, which means lots of people do read your blogs.

Interaction, unless we are all on the same time zone and logged on at the same time, could be delayed by hours or days.

Readywriter, I recall your posts. Once in a while I am not so serious but generally serious - yes.

May B, I also prefer this more serious conversation, that is why I left Blogit six months ago, and that is now why I have returned!    The events of our day and time lend to serious conversation, if we can find those who as you say, "will interact at that level."

Readywriter55, I have read you. I read everyone. I am speaking more of the interaction. It is like being on the edge of a noisy party. In real life I am very gregarious and sociable but I always prefer the more serious conversation

You might be reading in the wrong place.    Read some of my work and I believe you will not walk away disappointed!
