Temple and Ca88andra, things are better. She ate nothing yesterday, but ate
today. She's out in the garden barking at passersby and resting in the sun. Life is good.

Oh Abuelita, she's so beautiful. She looks like a young doggie.
My little Mitty got gray hair around her temples and between her eyes when she got old.  :)  I would love to sleep on Autumn when I was sad or sick, too.  I hope Makeda feels better and pulls through for a bit longer.  They suprise us sometimes.  Love and light.

Temple, I've linked to Makeda's latest photos in my blog post.

Go see the old girl, dying and then better, looking at pigeons just yesterday. Thanks for the empathy.

Her song is stolen actually, from the old song Black Pearl in the 60's. I just add my own words to it, using her name enough to make her feel that it is her song. I'm sure that she just  hears, blah, blah, blah, Makeda, blah, blah, blah.

HolyFriendshipGrail, I know, good news Chariot's Not Comin', Good News.....
Chariot's Not Comin'. Things get better in small increments, I find. Never enough to truly save us, but enough to keep us going and believing.

You are the cutest thing ever.
I'm loving hearing about Makeda.  I love to hear that you sing for.  When I come visit, will you sing the Makeda song for me? :)  I'll bring a new teddy bear.  I'm sorry you were so sad, but I'm glad you are starting to feel better.  I understand.  It's hard when the universe seems determine to test our mettle.
