Indeed the true judgement of one's blogs is reflected in the clicks one
gets, but one needs to also remember that there is first the patient waiting period usually, At least that's my experience. And if your blogs are visited by someone who extensively reads others' blogs, then that is not reflected by way of increased earnings!

Having time to interact here has some impact too. If you have little time to interact then you get fewer readers. There was a great blogger here who was one of the best writers I've ever read. Because they did not have time to interact or spend a lot time, or to be here at the busy time, a lot of people did not read that person and missed out on something special. Many people value interaction more than writing quality and that's their perogative.
I blogged the other day about the fact that it is harder to write blogs that appeal here if you lead a quiet, uncontroversial life.
There is a danger in people judging their ability according to popularity here. Some of the serious stuff here is good but there are less readers looking for that stuff here. You are doing fine. Who decides great anyway?
