I thought I had read you, but apparently I had not!  Enjoyed your post and will put you on my list, as I do other free-lancers I find here.  Hopefully, I can learn a thing or two about the publishing field.  I have sold some freelance features articles in the past to local newspapers.

I am excited.  I have an appointment tomorrow with a newspaper/magazine editor friend for lunch.  He has always enjoyed my writing.  He had a very successful publishing business at one time, but divorce ruined it.  He is starting over, and is willing to give me some "real" advice.

I look forward to more of your posts.

Wow! I didn't think it was possible to make that much at freelance. It's becoming more and more obvious to me that that's a road I need to walk down a little bit more.

Well done. I have been in that position too but the one thing I learned is that everything changes so go with the flow now and see where it takes you. That medical coverage can be very helpful. I relied on mine when I became ill at a time when I couldn't do any freelance work.
