Comments on How We Help the Killers

The school my son goes to has no bells. Students know what time their next lesson is and go to it when required. The day is split into 8 or 9 (I forget which) periods of half an hour each, however most of his classes run over two or three periods. It is a high school, but the kids there seem to cope well with the longer classes.

Kingmi...
good post. Like I said in my post on this subject, someone must be accountable. I will have to disagree with one point of yours about the attorneys not being responsible. I am sick and tired of defense attorneys. They lie and know they are lying. I have seen this in action. I am tired of the victims getting the shaft over and over again. My family and myself have been victims before, and I am tired of it! To quote a defense attorney here in my hometown, "I do not represent the guilty, I represent the falsely accused." He must be held accountable for not only this statement but for what he does for a living. Take that whatever way you want. If you have been a victim then you know what I am talking about. There should never be the need for another jail to be built. Empty death row, send a message, and you will never have to use our tax money to keep killers alive and build additional prsions. Start with Charles Manson and work your way through. NEXT!

Kingmi - good post.  Good questions.  I don't know the answers.
