straightforward, Wow, 2005! My friend from Kentucky visited CP, stayed
all over NYC.  Really did it right.  I just love it there.

Hi, I dropped by cos I did a search for Central Park and came across this
post of yours. I am interested to know more about Central Park, its management and workings.

I've given my definition of
what I consider to be art. Yes this could probably be considered art, but I would put it under the category of commercial art, as it's soul purpose was to draw visitors and advertise New York. I doubt the artists had a whole lot of real emotion in the work. They probably made well over the costs that they put out, not only in the sales of their drawings and other works, but in advetising alone. It is nicer than some of the crap that people try to pass off as art.

Yes, definately.  Art on a huge scale...

I went and saw it and thought it remarkable. It was wonderful to see people actually laughing and smiling in Central Park, and for a while the gloom seemed to lift. Is it art? Probably. It was also one of the most remarkable visions that I've seen.
