Adam & Eve...

...were the first ones in the lineage leading to Jesus.

But other parts of Genesis seemed to indicate that other people had been created, too--meaning that they were, likely, not the first people on earth but were, instead, the first people of this particular line.

Blessings!

Creation and Evolution

Go hand in hand. The bible never said that evolution was not a part of creation. Evolution simply means steps. The bible also did not say that everything was created in one day, nor did it say how long each day of creation…was.

The truth be known…the act of creation has never ended…its an eternal process.

True, but that's not the spirit in which people read these stories,
they try to go for the literal meanings and use this interpretations to say , for instance that women are inferior to men, because Eve was made out of a rib of Adam!!

Well, RAME, if you do not believe the Bible is God's Word, then it does not matter what else you believe about anything.  You can make it up as you go along.

I have often wondered this same thing!
Why would anyone imagine that God could not use evolution to accomplish the goals of creation?
