Dylan. Thank you for saying I was right two days in a row. I hope we are both right.

Thanks Symphony. The tracker shows you as my 4th viewer. Before you did it was showing three.
When it shows 0 it is going to be very depressing

Scoop, you illustrate my point well. Perhaps people get caught up with the idea that they must tell all they know

Good points, our newspaper use to have a 500 word limit on letters
to the editor and then they cut it to 400 then I think now it is 250 or 300. I use to write a lot of letters and in the begining I said , How can I express myself? But after some practice I was able to get the message out just as easy as before. I try to do the same here. I keep my posts simple 200 to 400 words, I have gone over but when you do you lose readers. I have studied a lot of columnists over the years and even did a word count on them, they do it in 500 to 750 words. I also like the style of "creative non-ficiton" that is my favorite way to write.

MayB,
Your last paragraph is nothing less than the truth. Often it takes a lot of effort to slice the fat off what we've written. Then too it does take some effort to learn how to put thoughts and info together into a cohesive unit.
