thats a beautiful sad story
my little dog was taking away and put to sleep...when I was a young child...I will never forget dixie..she was so lovely....I have a dog now that I am older and she is getting so old...I be sad when she dies but she was my brothers dog before she was mine...so the comfort knowing she will be with him...may make it a little easier
but dont hold me too that....take care

loveladymonk, it is uncanny how pet dogs can read humans, or seem to.
