DarkDreamer,
That's really about all one can say in this case!

Thanks, Voyager!
I guess it all comes with the territory! Thanks!

Dear Spitfire, got a tip for this article from a fellow Blogger, since I have encountered the same some time ago by a senile idiot! I think you are quite right to defend yourself, and not let ANY insult be thrown at you, how justified it is or is not, such things belong in a more private space and be thrown with manners.

Happy Blogging!

On reflection I think that the blogger put the word dog in the subject line because they thought they needed to put a subject there. I remember being confused by that for my first hour here back in dark ages
that's not excusing the rest of the comment

Yeah, it was, HolyG.
I don't think "Dog" was meant like that. Or even that she was referring to my ex-husband as "a dog" Regardless, I don't give a shit anyway! That's why I didn't spend more than a few minutes on that blog!

Word, I thought "bite me" was a lot nicer than
saying "blow me" or anything worse! It's just not worth my time or energy with such people.

Wonder if she meant it in the "whassup dawg" sense?!?  Either way, the comment was RUDE!

There will always be people
who don't 'play well' with other people and ignore the social graces if you want to call them that.  I always maintain that there is a diplomatic way to say 'most anything if we just take a few seconds to find it.  Still, I've always been kinda partial to that phrase 'bite me'.

Oh, and B.B., Alf, and the other commenting bloggers here...

Since B.B. just informed me my "rude commenting blogger" is a female, I must say that I am sorry that a newbie who is so rude and bold in a comment doesn't have the "balls" to even have an "about me" profile.

Really, BB? Hmmm, interesting.
Thanks. I'll be sure not to visit her website. Not just because she stated she doesn't like my work (I'm being nice about her comment she left)but because of the way she worded it...and cause she called me a "dog".

I saw that comment and thought it lacked charm. The author is a female and has a website.

Oh, btw, Alf...
I don't know if the blogger is a male or female either. I suppose I am very politically incorrect (hehe) to assume it is a male. I don't mean anything against men by saying that. We all know that I looooovvvveee Men!!

I won't, Wiley-Pops. It's really not worth my time
or effort. I find it hard to believe anyone would send you such rude comments though! Me, yeah, I can maybe understand (in my Politically Incorrect blog!) But you? Lemmie at 'em!!

Spitfire

I am sorry to read that.

When that happens to me, I simply delete it, especially if I find the person(sic) writing that nasty crap has no profile.

I sure wouldn't lower myself to enter into any kind of dialogue with them though luv. I wish you wouln't either daughter

I love you, Alf! Thanks.
I don't let it bother me, but it was just kinda out of the blue. I guess a lot of us experience rude comments such as this now and then. I think this is one of the few that I've received and it just made me say, "huh?" Oh well.  I guess as my mom always said, "consider the source." (Even if I don't know the source!)

Spitfire...
This got me a little riled up.  Who does this ass wipe think he is?  He has no about me page so I actually don't know if it is a man or a woman...if it is a man he should be horribly ashamed of himself.  What purpose was served by addressing you as "dog"?  If he is a man, he is of the small variety.  I am not referring to stature, but to the size of his character...he is a small person of no consequence.  I know this to be a fact, for only one that is small like this would put down someone else without provocation...that is the only time people like this ever feel bigger.  You just don't worry about him spitfire...you are way, way, out of his league.
