Thanks for clarifying. . . glad everything worked out, and that your daughter has a mama bear to stand up for her.

man-boy.....snow on the ground ,...
single digit lows to only 30 degrees...think they would be worried about the cold....heck, it's not their kids...

Hi Original Influence!
Good for you. Those people are incredibly obtuse. They thought they could treat your children like second class citizens. Is it winter where you are? You'd think they would just want the kids home safe as quickly as possible.

Nothing ( and I mean absolutely nothing)  can withstand the fury of a concerned mother.  I'm married to one who went to court to prove a point like the one you are making.

JanesOpinion,
No, What I meant was that the bus company caters to the public schools...they always get picked up right away, dropped off, never have to wait for other schools to let out, etc....our kids get treated differently...always waiting, only 6 early dismissal dates permitted...wait for the usual dismissal time...but this time...in a bus! for that long! maybe I should edit my title to be clearer...

OK, OI, help me understand this.
You want the catholics to suck fumes so hopefully there will be a few less of them, and yet your daughter attends the catholic school?  Did I read this correctly? Having said that, though, I'd be the first to admit that I'm all for holding people and institutions (and schools) accountable for their actions.  What they were planning to do seemed out of line.
