I feel bad for Melissa for sure.  Mono is just one of those things that plagues young adults in particular.  My mom didn't get it from kissing or sharing cups with anyone, but at the age of about 30, when I was 5, she got it and was in bed for several weeks; my grandparents had to come help take care of me.

Also, do you now know what happened to Chrissy?  That's so sad.  I didn't read the posts in order; I read them backwards instead of chronologically, and so when I first read of Chrissy I assumed she had some sort of terminal disease or something.  Then I read where you said "unknown causes".  In any case, I am glad you have faith that you will see her again; I think you're probably right -- I want to believe that heaven exists and we will meet our dearly departed again.

I'm glad I read your posts; thanks for making yourself known to me in my comments section.

Mandy, Have her hang in there. Diagnoses have been known to be wrong
she mayhave hepatitus instead.  Either way, mono should not knock her out of semester #8!  No way.  Give her myopinion for me!
