What ya do is...
You call the doctor's office every hour, on the hour, if you are awake. Yes, that means at 3 a.m. Pretty soon, the doctor's assistant will get sick of the clogged answering machines and tied up phone lines, and she will make the doctor phone in that scrip. She may get surly with you, but YOU ARE THE EMPLOYER here, and your employee, the doctor, is not doing his job. You pay him enough, don't you?
