I hate headaches, so I can fully understand why you wouldn't want to be in a smoke filled room.  And good point about stinky perfumes and such like.

As for the smell of cigs, as a smoker I'd advise that they smell better than they taste.  A bit like those chocolates with the coffee flavoured centres.  Yuck

Haha, hold it in your lips instead.  Sure, it looks trampy, but it frees up both hands.

Chris...
Only if it's a cloud of it.. same with perfume too. I wouldn't mind banning men and women that bathe in the crap LOL.... add that to your list ok? Otherwise smoking doesn't bother me. I'm wierd and kind of like the smell.

Well, they could leave the burgers with a responsible person, like me.  Er, thing is, I eat like a pig on a mission, I just don't put the weight on.

Chris...
I kind of feel sorry for smokers. I see them huddled outside in freezing weather trying to get their fix. But I have to admit that I like the fact I don't get headaches in bars anymore from smoke.

Don't be silly, you silly, silly girl...like I said, I generally don't smoke around other people anyway, unless I happen to be around other smokers.  I certainly wouldn't ditch a cyber fairy Godmother just because she doesn't smoke. - see, that means I like you enough to use an emoticon ;)

Chris 2303, I hope that does not mean that we are friends no more,

just because I don't want you to smoke around me.  I still love you!

Excellent, I'll need all the support I can get on the church front.  Perhaps after taking away the vending machines for a few months we could cover any churches in chocolate and give the fatties a "special bonus day".  Everyone wins.

Yeah I am a smoker, and I'm not one for smoking around other people anyway.  I just think there's too much hype surrounding the perils of smoking when there are greater dangers out there that should be getting priority whining.

Chris2303, I say ban all vending
machines. That would solve the fat problem. If fat people couldn't get a quick snack, they'd have to walk home and fix some food, they'd get exercise and loose weight. Churchs and mosques and Temples too, they definitely should be banned, I'll back you on that one;-)

Chris, unless they are a marksman, I can return fire and take them out
I am guessing you must be a smoker?!

LOL....I think... well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to ban smoking was an easy option thinking people will be happy...but they wanna stop the real problems first!

So what if someone decided to shoot you in the head from behind because they was a little drunk?  Then you wouldn't be able to breathe any air at all.  Said shooter could also be a non smoker...my point is, especially in your country, wouldn't getting rid of guns be more of a priority over second hand smoke?

Chris, as a non-smoker............

I have a right to breath clean air.  If some drunk comes at me, I still have a chance to defend myself!
