I like that!  Thanks, Mysteria, for increasing my knowledge and improving my vocabulary, particularly with new and useful words.  Did you say this was a government funded study?  I forgot. You'd think the UK would be better off applying that money to medical or charity care, than building splatometers.  Good post!

Thanks for stopping by and your 2 cents.  I too am all for protecting nature as I am a huge part of it and it of me.  Too often I believe people are fast to blame humanity as it seems that we appear to be the caretakers of this planet.  I think this is another grand illision too many people buy inot without any thought.  We have such a limited vista.  There is no telling how many variables contribute to any supposed "claim". We are all natures creations.

Great post!
Mankind is not the cause of every problem on the planet. I am an ardent guardian of nature, but we sometimes go overboard with studies such as you mention. That is a creative way to get a grant though! Too many times studies are done then made to fit the hypotheses rather than just looking for data to parse.
