Dennis, my husband also plays Vice City, but he
is totally addicted to San Andreas. He loves it. As far as the Sims2, at first it went really slow, but I quickly realized that you have to turn off your virus scan and firewall and then it's fine.

I have to say that I've tried Sims and I couldn't get into it. It moved too slow for me and having to keep up with bringing them to the bathroom was just too much to bare! I have enough trouble keeping up with it for myself in real life!  My wife has the same problem.

Now, GTO, THAT'S a different story! For me, Vice City does it over San Andreas. Even though there's more options in San Andreas, Vice City has more faster and cooler cars! Whoo-Hoo! Unfortunatly, I can't keep the wife interested in it. She gets too frustrated at not being able to complete the missions.

Sass, do you ever play the Sims?

M is addicted to it big time. He plays more than I do now! We do it together sometimes but that gets annoying to me cause I'm like a back seat driver if he's got the controls! Oh, and NO, Grand Theft is definitely NOT for kids!

Justsouno, I didn't know that was an option.
Hmm, so like, we could trade off now and then, huh? Just fer fun? K. Wait, why not keep them ALL? That's much more fun!

You sound like my kids!
They have those games also. I'm not so sure about the Grand theft auto being too great for kids though. Lots of violence and blood. Sim City is very addictive though and I can understand your attraction to it. Its fun!

That sounds so funny, Quirky! I missed that post of yours.

I'm gonna do search for that name cause I'd love to read it. Yes, Sims 2 is very addictive. I died last night. I starved to death cause I was being defiant and wouldn't order food. My husband character peed on the floor the other night cause he's retarded, I think. He couldn't get to the bathroom in time. Stuff on that program is so wild. You probably need more memory on your computer. It does take up a lot.

Spitfire,
I have wanted to play that game for eons, but sadly, my dinosaur that masquerades as a computer, does not have enough of something it needs. I know I would never leave my computer if I got it, so I guess it's a good thing. I've played Sim City for about ten years, building cool cities for the Sims I hope to have one day, lol. I wrote a post not too long ago about Laurie Notaro, one of the funniest author's I've ever read. Her description of playing the game was a riot, she caught on fire and couldn't figure out how to extinguish the flames, so she died. Then she forgot to empty her husband's bladder and he peed on the fireman's foot. It was sooooo funny.

He had today off of work and he was playing it when I left for work and STILL playing when I came home!! Yikes! Happy New Year to you, too!
