SCA is Society for Creative Anachronism. A Medieval Re-enactment group. I've reposted a blog I wrote about what the SCA is.
And thanks for reading me!

Thanks! And your right about the kids seeing it. My oldest son (3 1/2 years old) used to see me in my uniform but my youngest (1 yr old) has never seen me in it. I got out before he was born. And the funny thing about the shadowbox is that I had no clue he was making it! I should have known because he was asking questions about the ribbons and stuff but I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

What a talented, thoughtful husband!
8 1/2 years is a long time. You'll always have the memory of your experiences and everything you learned, but it's good to have your ribbons on display as well so your kids can see something of what their mom did when she was younger. The shadow box is beautiful!
