This was a great poem, Alf. Fun to read and yet with a message.

Merryanne...LOL, It's likely. Perhaps my energy ignites them from
out here in cyber land through your computer.

I should leave more commments for you Alf. It never fails that when I have one of your posts up one of the kids hurls themselves towards certain death. I think they must be kindred spirits of yours :)

Suomynona...Very perseptive...I wasn't really
going for Irish nessesarily...but folksy accent similar to irish is what I was thinking when I wrote it, since it's hard to write english in a Norwegian accent.  Thanks for reading.

Thanks merryanne...I don't know about all that though, but
I definitly appreciate your comments.

Alf
That was a good one  ..'t'be sure, t'be sure". For some reason I was reading it in my head with an Irish accent! I don't know if you wrote it that way....but that's the way it came out! I really enjoyed your imagery. I also liked the 'lilting' verses. Well done!

Good job Alf, you are a much better poet than I. :)

Was the first one of yours that I read too...was very good...

Good poem. First thing I've read of yours. I'm impressed. I loved the philosophy of dying with your eyes open, doing something. And fighting death when it comes. It was a very uplifting poem despite it's subject matter.

Passionflower...thanks. I like to throw out a ryme once in a while.

Don't see much rhyming poetry anymore but I enjoyed it. And I feel the same way about death.
