It's not a movie I watch often, just because I'm not into war movies.  My husband loves them.  When I was pregnant with our first son I would come home to our apartment and could hear outside that he was watching it.  He would have the stereo/bass so loud.  And what is funny is that I was in a six week school (in the military) and he would watch that movie constantly!

The pre-empted it in my city too!
But I do have the video, so I do watch it often.

I agree
I had no plans to watch it because I'm a weanie and can't stomach the reality of war.  But guess what I just wasn't going to tune in.   I heard it is a great movie and by Hollywood standards a phenomenal depiction of real war.  What a disappointment for many including my Hubby.  But then again I didn't think a boob was that big of a deal either.  I watched and wouldn't have noticed except for all of the chaos it created.
