I agree they should have known . . . . .
. . . but still, intelligence is also partly luck, and there are many ways such things could have been moved without detection before we got there. They may have been moved during the bombing phase, and with so much confusion, there was too much going on to ensure it was all monitored. We should investigate, certainly.
But, and this was my primary point, Kerry jumped onto the "blame the president" bandwagon without thinking about other possibilities. He has been far, far less restrained in making acusations, and far, far more ready to jump to unwarranted conclusions than has Bush.

archiew, I don’t think either candidate can say anything because
it seems no one really knows.
In my post today I question this. If the Russians removed these days before we invaded, as it is now reported, why didn’t we know that? Who was minding the store? If you are going to invade a country don’t you want to have updated information? Don’t they want to know what the intelligence says?
With GPS tracking. Satellites, drones, spy planes how is this missed one way or another? They weapons could have been there but maybe the military didn’t even have the right information to search for such. To many unanswered questions and I think some high ranking military officers should provide some answers, something is very sloppy.

Liberals! Those morons suck up anything he says, just like they did with Clintoon. Funny though how they were against him when Howeird Dean was running. They are convictionless!
