I wonder if your analysis might
be flawed from the beginning. The Red Sox made four errors and let a ton of men on base. They had bad defense and an offense that could have scored more runs, yet they won the game. So they played worse defense than the Cards and I think the Cards hitters did a better job of hitting (Wakefield's walks). So there might be some other things going on here. I think it will be a great series. The Cards will be tough.

HI growler. I just hope no more young people get killed.
A young girl got shot in the eye with pepper spray from a cop and she died in Kenmore Square. If anybody else gets killed all this hardly seems worth it. About the Yankees growler, the Sox beat them four straight after being down 3-0, that will take some wind out of their sails. we might be their little brother but our team did what no other team ever did before. That has to count for something.

I guess I'll have to cheer for the Cardinals. Should be an interesting series. Maybe I'll watch a game or two. Another game 7 would do.
