Well, my friend ...

The question of the body of Christ can be answered on a theological, a purely philosophical, a denominational and an academic level, just to name a few. Perhaps it is best to speak of it in generic terms to start. It is the mystical body of Christ and all those, past present and future, who believe in Him and accept Him as their Lord and Savior and live their lives for Him. To appreciate the depth of this Truth, one has to go beyond mere allegory to the experience of an interactive, dynamic loving relationship between The Triune God and those who have chosen to accept and return His infinite love. The conceptualization of the analogous billions of cells of the body and their totality being much more than a mere sum of the parts does not convey the magnitude of the powerful relationship dynamic available to members of the Body. Put simply, it's a "had to be there" experience which occurs each and every moment for believers and continues forever. Praise God!Yo

Body of Christ?
So many meanings, yet, the spiritual meaning to me is from the point of view of a Pagan. Christ is one of many god figures one may attempt to emulate. We seek that "Body of Christ" to add perfection to our lives. Yet, al we really need to do is to be true to ourselves and then that divinity within us all will manifest to us and to those around us. We may easily become as Christ. Yes, I wrote "easily."

Westwend -
For me, we are all a part of the "body of Christ" - like atoms in the universe, we are small pieces of the divine body.
