Laroux,

Thank you.  The courthouse annex was open, but the lady behind the ounter said the computers were down, "..so we're not renewing any plates..."  Then i went to the courthouse to pay the ticket (did I mention i got a ticket for expired plates?) and it was closed, locked and unguarded.

Was it open or just a trip?

BB,

Your Dad was cool.  So was mine.  Every time I used up a car, he gave me another one.  It is the only instance I can think of, from my puberty to my adultery, in which someone in my family gave me what I wanted. (that didn't sound good)

Thanks, Laroux. Ca88andra, I went to the courthouse today, Columbus Day!
I was obsessed, but got over it.

Are you sitting their fretting about her driving?
I recall that my dear old dad could never sleep until he knew I had driven home safely. Once I got home at 4am and he was asleep by the door. He was angry but more relieved than anything
