Garage sales are such hard work, but kind of fun on the actual day. So many interesting people my friend and I want to do a documentary "Yard Sale" to showcase the charicters that go to garage sales and why, because they all seemed to tell us what they were buying everything for, where it would go in their house or who they were going to give it to ect.

Well, there was this one woman....
she was sort of interested in the china cabinet I had for $75. It was for her neighbour; could she call us to let us know if the neighbour wanted it? So we gave her my mom's cell number. And she called five times on Saturday and three on Sunday. Her neighbour was interested. Could I take less? $50? How wide was it? How tall was it? Did it have glass shelves or wooden ones? Were there shelves in the bottom half? Were the shelves adjustable? What kind of pegs held up the shelves? Was it all one piece because she and her friend are disabled and wouldn't be able to move anything huge....blah blah blah. When my next-door neighbour said she'd give me $50 for it, I said I'd already had an offer at that price---then I asked her if she could do any better because ethically I'd have to give it to the other lady if I sold it for $50, and I really didn't LIKE the other lady. LOL. So my neighbour offered $60 and I sold it to her.

Call your favorite charity to pick up the leftovers. You didn't have any crazy early birds? Or customers complaining about the working order of a used iron?  " Does this thing spray out junk? Will you guarantee that..."
