Eva, your writing and perspective are relavant and help balance the energy for hope against the wailing of dispare. But it is hard to see when so much effort is put into denial. Keep up the great effort you present here on the BN.

That is exactly how I feel.
Hypocrisy. I hate it. We are supposed to represent the greatest accomplishment in the history of the Enlightenment: a democratic nation, committed to ethics, committed to freedom. Sometimes I read The Federalist Papers and I just weep. I really do. I am 44, in chronic pain, my life is coming to its winter. But the young....my God. The America we live in is not the America we were intended to develop.
