I'm sorry about all that you are going thru. I live in the Orlando area, and Charley was my first hurricane experience. It hit us hard. Be strong, be thankful everyone's okay, and don't forget to smile even if it hurts. It will get better.

The news reports say that the storm has changed it's path and is now headed for Cuba and that Florida looks like it is in the clear. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Yes, some have lost so much this past month, but whenever earnest prayers are said---20 people at least joined with you on Blogit, and thousands at least around the globe. The world loves Americans, I know that, and most do not pray for Nature to be harsh on innocent people.LUV

Tapsel, I am concerend for her aswell. I was thinking about her this morning. I pray she is ok. We came back from chruch and all I hear is the boarding up of my house so sad. Thank you for the concern. I am a little scared.

I know the panic you're feeling cause we were feeling the same way too. Now, they never know exactly where it's gonna hit (look how much the track has changed upon each hour) Look at where Charley and Frances hit...totally different from their "predictions" until about 2 hours before. Sometimes even an hour before. They thought Tampa was the hit but it moved to the center of the state at the last minute. Prepare yourself, but don't let it consume you with fear. Keep an open mind and remember, it is down to a cat 4 now and hasn't even gone over Cuba yet. By the time it hits the Gulf near us, I'm sure it will continue to downgrade. Hang in there. I'll be thinking of you and all the rest of us in Florida and our neighboring states.
