You should be happy he isn't going out and getting trashed with half-naked women. But, honestly in my experience, the men with five kids of whom drive drunk end up alone. So maybe that's what he's trying to tell you he wants? I don't know... has he ever said he wants to end the marriage completely and be on his own, or that he's not responsible enough to father five children?

Try this approach next time: no games, just an honest discussion between the two of you. Not pissing one another off, just attempt to understand him, help him understand you. It really can work, I'm living proof. 'Tie a knot and hang on, it will get worse before it gets better' I would venture to guess you don't want to encourage this behavior?? XOXOXOX :)))
