I'm like you
I'd have kept my mouth shut on all but the panty-person.
With the rest I would have told either my best friend or everyone on Blogit but wouldn't have told the actual people in question. Why? 'Cause I'm a chicken-sh!t, that's why!

we are too civilized, I think
If I have a button unbuttoned on the front of my blouse in public, I appreciate the concern of others, if they say
" excuse me, you have a button unbuttoned". ( I would hate to go around unbuttoned all day!)

A very enjoyable post :).
Generally, I keep quiet about the bad breathy scenarios, but will tell people (after I giggle to myself a little, of course:)) if they have toilet paper on their shoe or something like that.
This post reminded me: I have a friend who is a medical clinic receptionist and once a woman came in, announced to my friend that she thought she might have a prolapsed uterus, then began to lift her skirt there and then ... my friend screamed, "Gah! I'm NOT the DOCTOR! NOT THE DOCTOR! PUT IT AWAY!!!!!!!PUT IT AWAAAAAYYYYYYY!" and thankfully the woman did. Not without complaining that my friend was highly unprofessional, though. Gah, some people just need to be told :).
