I couldn't agree with you more.
I think others reading this agree with you also.
It doesn't matter what you believe, the only thing we really know is tihs life -- outside of that is a Great Unknown.
We act like this is all that we have and we should begin treating each other better.

The question is not "How long are we going to be here," or "Have we been here before in another life." None of this is relevant.
The relevant question is, "How do I make the most of the time I have here?" a question that gets entirely too little attention around this forum.

Nature Rules
in my opinion. I believe that whatever happens to us after we die, happens to all. Nature shows no favorites, nor does she care about good and evil. those are human terms, which we define largely based on culture and self-preservation. (Read an excellent book entitled, The Science of Good & Evil)
I believe we will continue to evolve, and that when nature finds something better, we are gonners!
