I am not discussing linen; I am discussing lying, cheating, sociopathic Demons of God who prey on the stupid and those who are desperate enough in their lives to try anything, no matter how far-fetched it may be.

Well, in keeping with my former comments,
there is a pillow case, and then there is a sham. Both are designed to protect your pillow. One is a bit fancier. To each his own.

Where does the idea that government is my god come from? I have never said or implied that. If you are going to put words into my mouth, at least let them be words that were originally mine! Also keep in mind that in speaking of religious shams in my latest post, I was not referring to churches, but to television and radio evangelists. Those people are truly hucksters and only want money.

Well, at least the church only says it needs 10% of our income to
be a true source of leadership. And they don't send our children off to die in wars either. Your God, the Government, asks for 25% to 36% of your money, boasts a bigger and more expensive house than any church, and then takes your kids and sends them off to kill people and maybe get killed. Where do YOU think I see the sham?

You are so right. We each need to choose to whom we will listen. And, it is for each of us to accept responsibility for following those we choose to lead us. In my life, I have found the most reliable voice to listen to was that oh-so-silent voice within myself. When I have ignored it, I have gotten into trouble; when I listened, I avoided trouble. It is reliable; were I as reliable, or at least were I to listen to that voice more often, I'd be less often troubled.

Archie,
I don't why we are supposed to believe some people and not others.
