Say this really in gutteral style, deep like "oooohhhh yeaaahhhh"

Whew!  I feel like I just got home and got out of my car, from a short trip up to Santa Barbara.  And for those of you who have never been - I just watched a softball game in a grassy park, at the foot of a very green hill, right across the street from the goregeous Santa Barbara Beach.  Read this work slowly, let it work it's way into the eye of your mind and look, listen and feel for her words.  She's got the soul of SB in this work.  Bravo!!!!!!  BRAVO!!!!!!  AUTHOR!!!!!  AUTHOR!!!!  AUTHOR!!!!

Wowie Poetjpb,
Thank you for that poetry, wowie is the best word I can come up with. For a few moments there,. I felt like I was with ya, and suddenly I wished forty years would just drop away, and I could stroll California beaches with ya. That was all so lovely. I am sorry about your brother, i knw about such things, that tear at the very soul of an artist, a creator like you are. bless ya woman.

thanks katray, yeah it's pretty big, huh?

It's just now sinking in.  He died flying just for fun in Wisconsin.

He flew for American Airlines for 30 years and dies in a small Piper having fun.

But you know he died doing what he loved most.  My brother, Carl sucked the marrow out of life.

Lucky guy.  He loved his job, it was his passion.  He knew the Lord which is a great comfort.

Lovely sights, sounds and tastes you conjure..

I felt carried away to your paradise. So very sad about your brother. Deepest condolences.

Good stuff poet...

You manage well

to catch

the wealth and beauty

of my hometown

wilst ignoring

or unknowing

the depths

of darkside

depravity

in which I steep

daily

in my chozen profession

I need reminding

of these truths

to avoid despair

for it is truly

beautiful here

thank you

Awesome poetry!
I like your usage of words. I also read your chocolate poem, and the one about don't own me or something like that. I also write poetry, but mine is not that great so I leave it off of Blogit.
