Thank you for the comments.
It makes me so happy to see that you feel what I was trying to express.  That's what it's all about, or mostly about, after all.  billy:  every comment you leave makes me feel good, thank you.  Solace comes in many forms, come on over anytime, I'll make you some tea.  The surf always speaks loudly when you are tuned in.  Kay-Ren:  welcome!  I'm glad to see a new "face."  Tea has some magic qualities to me.  When I'm sick or sad or writing or reading.  Try peppermint with honey, always a favorite :)  Thank you for stopping by and for your comments.  beachbelle:  I'm guessing by your name, you love the water (or the whole beach) as I do.  Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.  Sparky:  the moments are where the soul lives, no?  Nice to see you.  Foxy Blue and beedle:  thanks so much, both of you, for reading and commenting.  Apple martinis are new to me, but they are SO very good.  I'm actually not a big drinking, it's true, but when I do drink martinis usually its a tanguaray gin dirty.  I felt like something sweet this time.  Beedle, as you are learning right now, I have something of a schizophrenic personality!  It's great fun!  And CL:  thank you, thank you.  Since you know me and know my situation, your comments always mean so much.  Hopefully the source is endless.  Thanks for your inspiration!  <waving>  okay my lovelies, it's nice to reconnect!  Take care.

REAL
Temple, this is the best piece of writing I've seen from you so far!  It's beautiful, and beautiful is an overused adjective, but it's appropriate here.  Somebody already said that you felt as if you were there while you read this and it's so true.  This is poetry from your core, baby.  Keep tapping that source.

You comment about bars full of navy men and tanning salon crabs in my corner of blogit and I laugh, and I come back here and you're mist and soft music and waves and peace and laughter.  It must have been hard to write such a beautiful piece when you're dealing with the pain of a 5-2 Avalanche loss (see: smattering) to the Leafs.

And you've introduced apple martinis into someone else's life.  Thanks for all of it.

You write beautifully. I really enjoyed reading this. I could smell the ocean and tea sounded good to me. I don't drink tea normally. Probably haven't had any in fifteen years. I want some now. I hope the rest of your weekend is a wonderful.
