This particular situation sounds a lot like my adoptive mother and father's. You do sound like a 'wants' kind of a person, but that's not neccessarily a bad thing... see, if you become successful in life, you can afford to be a 'wants' kind of a person. But how do you get there in the first place? I know, I know... he never listens, he focusses only on the present and, dare you talk about how you're feeling, he shys away and says NOTHING. That's not a lot of help, and you really should have him focus on working something out before it's too late. Tell him Colorado is his last move, if he doesn't save up the money to have you engage in something you'd enjoy doing and could take you places. Honestly, leave the kids with him for awhile, if he moves you after Colorado, just to see how he fairs. Not to mention, how you'd be able to fair on your own. And, yes, I do know what it's like to have one of those days, where the world seems as though it's crashing in around you.
