jems, the same happens to me, all bundled up in coats at 78 degrees
and less. Tourists wander around in shorts and t-shirts and I have on long underwear and mufflers. They think me crazy, but I know cold here in the desert, when I feel it.
Rattle snakes hide in holes all winter and only come out to sun on the rocks, I am like them, until God opens the oven door, takes it up to 80 degrees and keeps it there. Four days later, I take off the long underwear and bask in the hellish heat. 112 degrees is about my favorite day around here, hot with no humidity and survivable with a lemonade in hand and a wet wash cloth in ice in a cooler in the car.
Your post made me cold. Brrrrrr............It's about 78 degrees today, so the long underwear stay on.
