Yesterday Buster the black lab cleared my back-garden fence with a leap of pure joy, bounding his excited way up my front-garden path where he begun his very own belly dance of greeting, which he always performs on his back. My son Mark and grandson Jack, also greeted Buster but both refraining from belly dancing. Mark and Jack were as brown as berrys and their heads of blonde hair had now turned white as supernova-platinum, under the heat of the Spanish sun. The four of us made our way back...
