Community Help

I am writing two novels on BN and I am wondering how to spread my blog over more than one page.  Each of my posts are long, several pages of manuscript, but so far they are all on one very long page.  Also is thier a limit to the length of a blog?  I would like to put the entire novels into one blog, subdivided into several pages.  How do I do that?

I'm sure it's probably been explained before, but how do you choose which blogs get put in the 'Featured Blogs' section at the top of the home page?

Also, with regards to your previous comment to Damon Leigh, I'd like to ask that the new comments section doesn't get removed.  I understand that my one vote won't count for anything, but I'm hoping more people feel the same.

BN is successful because of its interaction value.  The majority of people here like to recieve comments, and some often complain that they don't receive enough!  Removing the new comments section would be akin to removing several limbs.  I'm not sure that BN would have the same appeal, were we writing without any feedback and other responses.

Hey, if ain't broken, then don't fix it, right? 

 

I know Bravenet has something for this, but it there anyway we can tell if people are coming to read our blog without having to use Bravenet?

I've almost made the switch across to my funky new iMac, but the BN input screen on the Mac is missing all those useful buttons at the top. The most annoying one is 'Insert a Link'. I know few of us do it regularly here, but blogs are traditionally stuffed full of links! It makes no sense to preclude a significant percentage of your subscribers from having this facility (let alone all the others).

When are you going to fix this? Specifically. Can you please make it a priority? (Again, having worked in the web development world, I know it's work, but not a massive amount).

I've been around a while, as you know, and I have mentioned this before. Put a link to Comments in the group of links top right. It would make navigation so much easier when we're in a Comments conversation, and it must be a two-minute job.

I tried signing up for an account but I couldn't post my blog. I don't have time to waste hanging around trying to post stuff that won't post so I have unsubscribed. It was at 12 lunchtime English time today. [I never even heard of blogging until yesterday, although I do have a vague Idea that some people have had conversations with me about it, during which I smiled encouragingly and nodded my head a lot. It is the publication of that book the Baghdad Blogger which has  done it - probably everyone suddenly had the same idea as me.]

My latest blogs wont post!!!

I lose track of comment area exchanges. People don't want to use the Community section. Can we get a software "agent" to keep track of these?

I know, a postit note by the screen would work...

I only paid for one month because I wasnt sure if Id want to blog for any longer. I am actually enjoying it. If my time runs out, will my blogs disappear as well before I get a chance to pay another payment? How much time do I have before that happens? ..

i was just wondering how you see your blogs top position in its catagory. the highest it peaked befroe declining, in case i missed it.  this is for "Scrap".
